Nepal's Global IME Bank likely to get $56m from IFC

CEBU, Philippines -- World Bank Group member International Finance Corporation has proposed extending a $56 million loan to Global IME Bank, the largest lender in Nepal, according to a disclosure.

The proposed three-year U.S. dollar-denominated senior loan will be used exclusively for on-lending to small and medium-size enterprises in Nepal, IFC said.
