Lesser-known Asian films challenge the world from Berlinale

Festival can be a springboard to success for indie filmmakers

BERLIN -- The Berlin Film Festival, known for supporting global cinema, is increasingly featuring lesser-known films from Asia.

Of the 170 feature films shown at this year's Berlinale in February, roughly a quarter were produced in the region.
