Japan's Mitsubishi Corp. to invest in Andrew Ng's next AI fund

TOKYO -- Mitsubishi Corp. will invest in a new artificial intelligence-focused fund led by Stanford University computer scientist Andrew Ng, as the Japanese trading company seeks to forge connections with high-tech startups and talent.

Ng has directed research for Google and China's Baidu and is a co-founder of Coursera, a U.S.-based online education company.
