Japan's Marubeni invests in Vietnamese industrial park run by Amata

TOKYO -- Japanese trading house Marubeni has announced its participation in the development and operation of an industrial park in Vietnam run by a subsidiary of Thailand's largest industrial developer, Amata Corporation.

Marubeni acquired a 20% stake in Amata City Halong Industrial Park for 271 billion dong ($10 million) from Amata's subsidiary in Vietnam.
