ASEAN finance chiefs to seek progress on cross-border payments

LUANG PRABANG, Laos -- Finance chiefs from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations are expected to discuss regional economic stability and integrating financial services when they meet in Laos on Friday.

The gathering of finance ministers and central bank governors in Luang Prabang is part of a series of meetings by senior ASEAN finance officials that began on Tuesday.
